I would go with something bold and bright. if it going to be laminate, make it fun like turquoise, or magenta or apple green. Then your gorgeous bed will be the star of the show. add a couple of items in the bedding that take that color and keep the rest of the bedding white. yes , a pure white kitchen will look great , the tiles will be the highlight of the kitchen.The mixed colours of the tiles , pure white cabinets and the Black granite will look Superb!!

I hope that it's not glossy tiles and probably the light effect in the photo. What kitchen countertop are you planning to select?
