how to connect two rooms

Hello everyone!! Need some ideas as to how to connect these two rooms , in one room kids will stay n other will be the master bedroom. The interiors are totally changeable. It’s a rough sketch.

Hi Nikita, First and farmost, you have very beautifull coushion on sofa, from where you buy it? You can check the videos of Small budget Big makover first session series in youtube. In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. there is no 'effective' solution that costs less than 3k and still looks good. you can build a plywood boxing and paint it the same as the wall. Even that will cost around 3 k at least, especially when a carpenter comes to execute just this one job

Rupal shah isn’t it a forum to see and advertise and ask as well? And anyways there are two flats in question here in the same society. One being ground and other top . The architect was hired to supervise but as the construction is progressing there are certain changes which we want to make.

Hi Gauri!

From what we understand with the plan shared by you, the TV unit extension in the master bedroom can accommodate a concealed door in order to connect the two rooms.

Since the balconies are shared, we suggest landscaping it cohesively and adding a common seating area for both rooms outdoors.
