Hi Jiya, For sure this has gone over the top.. not going into that.. To tone it down we can remove the terracotta red color on the walls . It can be replaced with white color on the brick wall. Window frame color if changed to lighter shades would be great as well. The line where the two floors meet may have to be covered with a uni tone area rug. The sqaure shaped dining bench gives the room a sidey restaurant like feel? Can we not change it . For the curtains and Sofa furnishings , please do not take one with any patterns on it.. uni colored ones with an accent piece would be better.. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore.

Surbhi, The width of the room is not mentioned here but from the scale it looks like it is ~8 ft. Effective living area would be close to 90-100 sqft . Grey and darker blue may not a be a suitable palette for this area. However, the tiling is already done. You may want to go for lighter shades for the remaining areas like wall paint (try 8260 Asian paints) and maybe brighter contrasts for sofa and curtains. Final working drawings shall be issued by the architect which includes the details (only structure related details) given by the structure engineer. Final working drawings include around 15-20% of structural details, remaining 75-80% includes mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP) detail, HVAC details, flooring details, wall finish details, details of architectural elements, and so on, depending on the scale and complexity of the project. An Ideal Working drawing issued by the architect includes every single technical detail, which a contractor/site engineer on site will require to construct the building, even if the architect is not physically present on site.
