HI -- Put the wardrobe where you show the desk and the put the desk beside . Now move the bed into where the wardrobe is shown now . Would this work better for you? Better to have all the storage furniture along that one long wall . There might even be some room for another storage piece of furniture .That might open the floor space a bit more for you and also make it possible to add some more lighting .

Hello Inderjot, In my opinion painting the bidding in black/grey would make it merge with the laminate. You have some section on the loft that also show the inside laminates, even those may be colored. In case, you want to see how it may look like with black paint/ you may temporarily stick black craft papers on the bidding take a few pics and then decide whether you want to color them or not. Dear Vinod, That's what happens when you give a project to a carpenter cause they view it as the single element and can't imagine where and how it is going on with the space around. "They literally don't care" except the money they save in that project. As the wardrobe is glossy and dark gray you have to make-over everything in that room to makle it look better. So better go for removing it which is more economical, and if your wardrobe is done with solid wood or timber just go for wood finish paints (veener/varnish/some other) or else go for duco paint or any other that can be applied on it. But BETTER consult a Designer or an Architect to those kind of works not carpenter or some vender. And lastly remove that funky looking overhead outcrop. Have a nice day
