Comments (1)I would brighten it up by painting the walls a more neutral color. Adding new bedding and fun pillows, artwork, etc. will add punches of color that will work nicely with the neutral backdrop. As a student I know designing in a budget friendly way is important. If you have an Ikea, HomeGoods, Gordmans or At Home to shop at, these are all great places to pick up interesting and fun pieces without breaking the bank. As far as space planning, from the picture it looks like a fairly long/narrow space- I would keep the bed at the back, back a sofa up to that and add a couple of comfy chairs and maybe an area rug. Dont forget the artwork too, this adds a very important layer to your space. Hope this makes sense and helps!...See MoreNeed help with furnishing and decoration of my living room
Comments (2)Hi Raghvendra! What I understand is that you require ideas for cushions and also for the wall. First of all, decide on the theme which you are going for.....modern...European....etc. Your furniture looks a mix of the two. As such a full view of the room would help one to decide on the best combination. Also the furniture material esp sofa will decide the texture of the walls and the cloth you will use for cushions. Also the size of cushion will matter. Personal choice of the color is best. I always go for rustic looks which matches most & mingles with all set ups. It give a look of luxury too. Pl consider all these facts before you decide. Hope this will help you. Looking forward for a happy home!!...See MoreAdding traditional decor to my living room
