I would put the TV on the wall you have the sofa on now and use the larger wall for your sofa. Right now it looks jammed into the corner. It should be fairly easy for the "cable guy" to move your cable outlet to theother wall if you don't have one there already. Or an entertainment unit would be better for your TV set-up on that wall.

Also you are accepting that you are not a designer yourself which is a good gesture against those clients who think themselves superior when it comes to design choices but knows nothing in real. I agree with above replies to share some information about your house starting with the floor plans as without these no one would be able to help you in any way. Also you need to understand that designing is a subjective and time consuming process and doesn't happen in an instant. If its just about getting ideas then you can find millions on google search. Thanks Rupal for your response. I have not started the construction yet. 1. I agree, thanks for suggestion. But on the 1st and 2nd floor will be keeping the small kitchen size so that two families can reside(on rent). 2. Yes, its a joint family. I would be happy if you can elaborate a little more on it. 3. Basically, I will be residing with my family on ground floor and other floors will be on rent. So need to design accordingly.
