Construction of first floor

Dears,

Now I am planning to build 1st floor, in ground floor there is no wall between living/dining and kitchen/dining. My question is can I build a wall over that in first floor? There is no pillar and beam, purely load bearing.

yes we can do that, 4" preferably, but with a lintel beam pillar to pillar

There is no pillar, it is load bearing type.

Hello Manu, If its under construction, then please make the furniture layout along with the window positions. Just taking care of the cross ventilation and not planning the furniture might create restrictions.

What about if I build pillar along with plinth beam for 6 locations and beam over that is it required?
