Hello Ajinkya, you can go for two colours like white and grey or can opt for any grainy laminate as your kitchen has a good day light source. Only grey will surely give a dull feeling. If you want to highlight grey, then add a bright colour along with that.

@ Rupal shah thanks for your reply. Which other colors would you recommend other than grey and white? What do you think about something like aqua or teal colored laminate with this backsplash and black counter? I want the kitchen to look as fresh as it can.

You could use charcoal grey below the counter and white above. That will smarten up the whole place. Add some yellow accents, like cups, hand towels and ceramic ware to add a bit of liveliness

Isn't the tiles which is there in the photo are final?

If no, then go for any of the two colours but the lighter shade.

If you follow Vastu, then take care of the colour you choose as per the direction.

The kitchen area as seen from the image seems compact. Hence would suggest a bright colour pop-up to break it's grey backsplash. It would add some drama to your kitchen.

With black granite counter, you can have white laminated cabinets above the black (white in this pic)
