need help fr an inexpensive kitchen conter top
Comments (10)I sanded then primed but on a base coat then went to hobby lobby and bought 5 different shades of Americana acrylic paint and sea sponge. I went to lowes and picked s countertop and took sample withe to hobby lobby. I started with one shade sponging . When it dried I did another. I kept doing that till I got the look I wanted . You can add more of any color at any time if you want to. Once I got it like I wanted I put 6 coats of poly acrylic over the top that I got at lowes. I didn't use the countertop for 2-3 days. When I first did it I left something wet on and it bubbled but once the wet was removed it goes right back to normal. As time has gone on and it's cured more it doesn't do that anymore....See MoreNeed help with my new house

If you can't hide pipes just go with them. Paint them the same color of area. You have a view direct all furn to capture that. Big art in bold colors to being in color and interest. Ikea has great things. Think scale on furn. Will a TV go here? What are floors if wood or tile. Use a area rug in front of sofa area. Use glass top on tables to make room appear bigger. Low modern furn in light colors will work best. Paint all trim and doors white. Use brush nickel for hardware....See MoreWhat colour palette will work for this room

Comments (2)White is always a good choice or a very pale grey. From there you can add as much or as little colour as you want with furniture, bedding and accessories. If you want more colour in your rooms, perhaps bring more colour in paint for your bathrooms or the kitchen and keep the rest neutral with the white or pale grey....See MoreConbu Interior Design
