There is a lot of concerns when you're constructing a new floor and want to merge with the existing building. Please consult with your local architect for a contemporary look.

Few things that needs to be incorporated :

1. Replace the overhangs with a contemporary shade structure.

2. Replace the traditional designs on balcony with SS and glass. Repeat on the new balconies

3. Incorporate ACP/ fibre cement panels throughout the facade.

4. Wooden paint / slats on the balcony roof

5. GFRC jaali on boundary wall alongwith stone cladding.

6. Painting the whole structure with a neutral tone or contrast as per preference.
