No chipped stone what would be the purpose of that ? Get a nice T.V stand depending on your style ( we have no clue ) then mount the TV at proper viewing height which is the center of the screen at eyellevel when you are seated . I love the Besta system from Ikea but it is very contemporary so when deciding on stand make sur eit is low to allow proper TV placement

Hey Harsha! Yes, having a floor lamp on next to the TV at night will affect your viewing experience. It will not be extremely distracting but it will not be perfect either. This is a very personal call. some like it and some don't. Place it there for a few days and see how it affects you. In case it doesn't work out you can always shift it.
