Sangram, it can be used for your specified requirements. I don't think factory will customise the bricks shape or size for a small project..but you can try your luck..
Thanks a lot.. I also have few more options like fly ash and clay bricks.. my architect suggest me clay bricks because of its flexibility to make designe but I told him that AAC also can be cut in to any shape. and now I think I am confused
It seems you're getting confused over choice of materials for your residential project.
Let me clarify your doubts first ,
AAC blocks are available in longer dimensions only (26"x10"x8") which facilitates fast building in a short span of time . It is hence well suited for commercial and large residential projects as well.
If you want to use AAC blocks, be sure that the labour have the knowledge of laying as it needs special thin mortar for joints.
Else, the best option still working today is kiln bricks/ fly ash bricks, provided you get a quality consistent supply as they fluctuate by season.
