Ideally, these shouldn't be compared. Oil paint would be much lesser cost than duco. Duco gives a much superior finish .

Application may be done on thin sheet of MDF and not directly on PW or BB.

Definitely Deco is what every professional would use for wardrobes. Unless you are making a piece of art, as oil paint is generally used on Canvas by artists for beautiful paintings.
