Could youtell me more things like what are your preferences? Do you want it to be in shades of sober colours, or go bold like red orange? But, i would still recommend changing the coffee table :)

i would prefer sober colors more attracted to eyes

hello Akhil, first of all its a beautiful house, secondly its a large room. If you expect many guests at a time and very frequent too then only go for a large or U shaped or L shaped sofa with two arm chairs atleast. But since the sunlight is less in the room you can go for light shade sofa like cream, lighter sades of pastels and compliment the sofa with a bright shade of Yellow or Magenta to make the room feel lively and accomodating. For the curtains, i would suggest going for light shade like pastel mostly matching to your sofa color and also light fabric like cotton or silk not velvet or any thicker fabric. lighter fabric makes the feel of the room light and sunlight make the room glow and lifelike. Place a large painting of your choice since the walls are very large you can experiment with many small photographs frames and large paintings or a sculpture too. Good luck

I have a few suggestions. Hope these will help.
Go for a wooden sofa set. I know many people nowadays tend to go for fabric sofa sets and sectionals, but i fee that wooden sofas never go out of style. Also, you can change the upholstery colour any time if you want a more colourful look or a colourful slip cover (you can get a local uphostery guy to custom stitch one) which can be washed easily.

Go for sleek furnitures that are not heavy. You can also add a few accent furniture pieces like an accent chair if the space allows for it.

There are couple of things to note when you bring in colour. Choose one primary colour and maximum two secondary colours. After you choose your colours, pick your decor. Add dashes of these colours through cushions, vases, flowers, paintings, figurines, curtains, carpets and other decor pieces. If you have a favourite painting, pick your accent colours from them. Or if you like the colours in a particular cushion covers, the other pieces can be colour matched.

Always hang your paintings at eye level. I noticed that your hang your frames quite high up. Place them around 57 - 60 inches from the floor.
