You could also bring in some texture with bamboo sticks or decorative branches and help balance a bit the height of your room with small scale furniture. This Cabinet is $155 at Ikea. You could take the 4 items you had hung, and put them in a "shadow box", or individual deep frames to tie then together, to create I piece that looks more substantial on the wall, Then add a little ledge for photos, and you would even have room on the cabinet for the cool bottles that were on the floor, and that cool chest could definitely find a home as an end table, or entry table. You could also add a larger plant in a really nice pot in turquoise. The cut and paste renditions arent always completely accurate in scale.

Is the indent in the wall where you have the TV now, supposed to be for a TV or is it to be a closed up closet?? You could switch the room with living area where you walk in but then you cannot wall mount the TV due to windows. Plus you might like eating near windows for more lighting drama. Also , now seeing your hall , I think turning the dining table 90 degrees from how I placed it, would fit better in your space. You could consider an area rug under the table as well , which would help to define the space when you enter. Also keeping a runner and a vase with either fresh ( or nice fake) flowers on the table, will make it flow better with the living room area furniture.

i think you can add some water element to it ....or you just stick to your plan i.e. placing a statue of deity is a good option to utilize that corner portion or u can place a shelf with storage ..... where u can keep stuff that can be taken before heading out from the house ....or a key holder ....on that wall......or a small table with telephone something like that .....i think that's pretty enough for u to decide upon shelf with storage where u can keep your bag , hats etc. which u can take before leaving the house by this kind of a corner table with a telephone, space can be utilized .
