Comments (6)Her are maps used as window treatments...... I also saw another map VALANCE for a window a while back where just a portion of a map was used to create the valance. The map was cut the width of the window plus a few inches extra for each side return. The top of the map was stapled around the perimeter of a board cut to the window width. The board was attached to the top of the window with "L" brackets. Hemp rope was hot glued to the top to hide the staples and it added a nautical touch. The lower edges of the map were cute in an irregular shape following the lines of continents .... Have I totally confused you? Anyway, it was very creative and attractive....See MoreBedroom decoration
Comments (11)I like the wall, too. I also agree with groveraxle that you just need to declutter and make the bed. It's hard to tell from the photos, but is the bed super low? If so, it would help to raise it. Look for bed lifts at your local bedding and housewares store. They are easy and inexpensive. Then embrace the rich colors of your walls in accessories like throw pillows. I would love chartreuse with it, too. But the main thing is the housekeeping. No matter how beautiful the decor, a bedroom always looks messy if the bed is unmade....See MoreBedroom design
Comments (8)Sorry until you can make more storage like a dresser for clothes. I don't know what to tell you. A rug for floor very big. And bedding in a color you like. End tables next to Ned with lamps on them. Try the bright blues and greens for colors. Put refrigerator over in corner by where clothes are. Put a drape on a rod to hide that other room. Good luck....See MoreNeed help with bedroom drapes
Comments (7)I thought of two options for the headboard one is keeping the way it is now i.e gold color or change it to dark brown velvet, because my bed is wooden (dark brown), so I thought the headboard will just look like a part of the bed, and I could do the drapes of sea green color. The sofa chair next to my bed is not there anymore, so on this wall its only the bed and the window. Bedding I have to change, but thats not an issue as of now. My main concern is the drapes and the headboard which have to go with the wallpaper well....See MoreNathalie Scipioni Architects
