Too much blue...try removing the blue curtains. I love your rug! You need end tables with lamps just in case you want to see! It's quite dark in there. Lower your picture over the couch so that the bottom of the picture is 5" above the back of the sofa. It might be a bit small for your space, do you have others you could group with it?

I like the wall, too. I also agree with groveraxle that you just need to declutter and make the bed. It's hard to tell from the photos, but is the bed super low? If so, it would help to raise it. Look for bed lifts at your local bedding and housewares store. They are easy and inexpensive. Then embrace the rich colors of your walls in accessories like throw pillows. I would love chartreuse with it, too. But the main thing is the housekeeping. No matter how beautiful the decor, a bedroom always looks messy if the bed is unmade.

Hello Aishwarya, The curtains need not match your sofa fabric. It will be an overkill. Please go with light colored curtains with hints/patterns of blue. Instead of two transparent curtains have two layered curtains the inner one (sheer) allows day light inside and the second layer cuts down all the light.
