Redoing a living room that has green marble

Hello!
I am redoing a living room that has green marble floor(as in the pic below), the house plenty of green around it and a spacious lawn.
The living room will have some reclaimed wood furniture and accessories. Irrespective of the setting, I was trying to understand what kind of wall paint and colour will go best with this kind of a marble. If there are multiple options I would love to hear them all.

Comments (8)hi chk I tried completing your living room . I guess the asymmetrical look of the living room needs to be combined together with some symmetry . 1. So you should get a big rug or 2 same rugs and curtain in same color lemon green or any other color of your choice . 2. you need to get 3 more peices of that lantern. one of same ht.used and 2 of a lil small ht. 3. you should get 2 lamps for the other side. they should be not small in ht. your one side have mirror so your window treatments and lamps will be reflected in mirror . 4. if you want to keep those table decor then keep it in centre and donot scatter it . also you don't have to keep all candles try to make a tray wid one or 2 candle and kettle's tc on main coffee table . for the other side a crystal vase with some green planters and flowers on 1 table wil look good. Comments (7)first of all, Thank you guys for those valuable inputs. yes, as far as cleaning goes, its just been finished installing and I have asked them to clean them up. And also, I observed that the frosting on the glass didn't look that good, so I am going for the filming on certain portions of the doors n windows. - Is there a particular quality of films that I may choose for this ? - Yes, lighting is definitely the criteria I had in mind which can bring up the finish to this. And i am worried about this , as I did not go for False Roofing, bcos the ceiling is already at a low height. I should really refine my ideas on the lighting part. - the stairs are floored with white Marble stone..My mom loves it and the matting on it might hinder its beauty, but yes I will surely consider that as well. Yes will stick to white for all other sides of the room. one is full glass with curtains, the other is behind the sofa, a plain wall as of now with no art or anything, this is just opposite to the brick wall. The 4th side is the foyer and a small wall with a artsy clock. The living area is more an open plan, that leads to dining on one side. I am looking for wall art ideas too. I create my own art for the home, I have not gone commercial, just do some art for friends too when they ask as gifts :-). We are changing all the furniture in this room, including the softa. have ordered recliners in light brown color, A square center table with stools underneath, and a side small curio/book shelf. Comments (6)Also please replace the heavy maroon drapes with a lighter treatment. Maroon against parrot green is a really bad combination for interiors. Now that I am looking at it on my system, I confirmed that you also seem to have one pink wall.. If you are partial to strong colours, paint one wall a medium cobalt or jade green if you must, but leave the rest of the room off-white. However, I get the feeling from the photograph that there isn't enough natural light in the room. so it may be preferable to go with mushroom or sand on one wall and leave the rest of the walls off-white. And by that I mean a plain base white with just a touch of ochre stainer or turkey umber which still makes it look white, but warmer....See More

deeparaj's ideas · More InfoSince the marble flooring has patterns on it, I would suggest you to opt for pattern-less upholsteries in lighter tones ( for the sofa set, rug). Even the use of natural indoor plants in beige planters along with burnt orange accent (cushions) will make the living space look much interesting.
