Since the marble flooring has patterns on it, I would suggest you to opt for pattern-less upholsteries in lighter tones ( for the sofa set, rug). Even the use of natural indoor plants in beige planters along with burnt orange accent (cushions) will make the living space look much interesting.

@StudioChippan I would prefer the living room not to be too bright. I think white will not help me.

@WingFeatherImpressions Do you happen to have any images? I tried looking up couldn't find many. Also, I am leaning towards a darker shade.

@DeepaRaj Yeah, planning on solid colour for the sofa cover, it would cover this sofa completely. And hopefully velvet frosty cushion covers.

I love the texture and the feel of the wall paint in the below picture, I am not sure if the same colour would go well with the green marble floor, what do you suggest?:

As the floor is dark green I would suggest a biege sofa, a very very light yellow colour for walls, light yellow and biege plain self designed alternately placed curtains, brighter yellow and dark green (as that of floor)alternating cushions and an orange base painting with white yellow and green on it on one wall.Hope my suggestion is of some help to you.

Remember I have used three shades of yellow very very light (almost cream) for walls, a little darker for curtains and still brighter for cushions

You can go for a light shade for your walls that will make the room brighter, you can chose the same color as the color of diamonds you have on the floor.

I would leave most of the room as it is , get rid of that sofa and bring in a Rattan cane sofa set & accessories ( think mirror with frame )

I would then use exquisite jute upholstery for the cushions .

Asian paints shade L104, cotton wool. All walls and ceiling.

or

L124 pure ivory on all walls, L104 for ceiling.
