Need inputs for pooja room

I am attaching apartment plan. The pooja room should be east west facing. I am fine with not having a dedicated room.

Dear Sneha,

Its better to keep the things simple.
The very obvious two locations i find suitable is either in kitchen or in living.
In both cases you will be facing east which is good.

Opt 1- As you already have a great counter here, you can have a big puja cabinet Here.

Pros- your puja area is isolated from guest areas.

Opt 2- This is short of empty wall here, so you can merge the tv cabinet and puja cabinet as per theme.

Pros- your puja area is a part of your great room and will add the positive energy to overall ambience.

I don't find any other good place in your layout. Hope this will help you a bit. :)

Hello Bikash, 5x3 pooja room is not a big one. However, it will be a good idea to do the civil changes you mentioned.You will get additional space that ways . What do you plan to do with that new space. We see a beam in that area, keep that in mind before you proceed with the changes. Wall mounted pooja unit is doable in multiple areas as per the plan. Hello there @ Pravin, There's is already a designated location in the plan marked by the swastika. If you want to incorporate seamlessly into a furniture, try making a bookrack cum Pooja shelf/ Pooja cupboard with cnc cut jaalis and wooden framed boxes for book storage. Madhu , It is probably one in a thousand balconies that can boast of that kind of view, not sure who would have recommended enclosing that space. What's done is done. Temple location is usually decided using vastu principles. If you have to use that window we would recommend treat that adjoining wall similarly so that it looks larger as a good backdrop.
