I would use the greens from your bedspread. Since you have green in the bedspread, and brown and white tiles, those 3 colors need to be your focal point. So I have painted your wall a bright olive green ( the darker color in your bed spread) and the ceiling either a brown to match the tile or a white to match the rest of your ceiling. then or I think this last one is a little tamer . But you should be able to paint over the tile. WHAT kind of tile is it? If it is ceramic you can paint it. Thanks everyone, I'm planning to get my floor tiled up soon, and then later the whitewash. So before all that, I wanna do away with the construction part, if required to transform this hideous corner. I had the roller blinds in my mind to hide these iron windows, but I will also look at options for changing them windows entirely if budgets allow. I might have to use some false ceiling work as well. Posters, I don't think can find space here, but a lounger sofa-bed is a surething with some nice lights. Ok there is a lot that you can do to decorate this place. You can put nice white/cream curtains along with white/cream curtains so that you can use net curtains one when you want more light. You can place a small decorative plant on that window. Another thing is that you can do is cover the wash-basin pipe.
