thanks all for replies. I want to highlight the wall as rest walls are almost white and need some change. there are white tiles on the floor, red sofa set and mostly brown furniture. I have planned to give a grey texture on the front wall (hoping it will look nice with red sofa). the wall beneath the light( in the photo) will continue to be white. though I would like to highlight it in some way as I have kept a box console in the photo above which a round mirror will be hanged. pls suggest

I think you have to make that choice all by yourself, as because what we as professionals suggests are based out of the material, cost and of course aesthetics. We can’t provide you with anything without any reference to the subject. You can use Pinterest for reference.

I would suggest to put the colours you are looking for in a screen (like white + dark brown which is on your cupboard + grey if you want on the accent wall). Basically asking to create a colour palette to understand how it will look into the room. If in your budget you can change the laminate of your cupboard into a lighter shade. Like just normal finish laminate without any design. Maybe change the handles. This little change can make your room more bright and lifted.
