Thank you for your quick response . I think this will give a better picture ,I modified the layout a little bit for a more clarity.As you can see the kitchen is right at the entrance and the only light it gets is from the living room due to which we cant close it off.It will be really helpful if you could share pictures of the ideas .

In the attached image i have placed stove, sink, refrigerator and over head cabinet in the kitchen. As per your needs gas stove is east facing. You haven't specified any dimension of walls and door but as per my understanding i have made it. Hope that helps....

Suggestion: Never put the gas stove below the window and chimney against the window. It is ineffective as the air blown out is likely to come back in. At the least, it can be on the right or left side of the window with the chimney on the wall. Or the best place is on a slab on the left wall.
