If the door is well painted I doubt if you will have a problem. A good coat of paint on wood work and wall surfaces is important if you have a lot of moisture in the room. If you can do some alterations to the space I would suggest you install an exhaust fan in the ceiling that vents moisture to the exterior, i.e. through the roof or side wall. Companies like Nu-tone and Broan make fans that have a moisture sensor that will kick on the fan while using the shower if you forget to turn it on. And these fans can be much more quiet than the typical bathroom fan. Some hundreds of dollars for the purchase and installation of this would be well worth it. I have seen bathroom ceilings covered with mold because the room has neither a neither a fan or window so you are right to be concerned.

Sorry Rupal shah if u get hurt.. But I thought I'm just getting ideas from the experts to see what possibilities... Not sure why u feel it that way. May be i posted my question wrongly.? I will rephrase.. The wall is constructed till sajja level.. and the shelves from inside r yet to be made. I'm trying to check what options r available to get more lighting and ventilation in kitchen? Can a window be still made in parking side wall with compromising shelves for the window area? Or would ventilators look good which opens in parking area? Anything else? Thanks

The main sink is right on the corner -- only one place to put things down. Behind the sink is not a great option. Other sink -- prep sink? hand-washing sink? bar sink? seems to be too fancy and not very practical for a kitchen space. Save that kind of sink for a guest powder room. Any sink in a hard-working kitchen needs to be flexible and purposeful. The exhaust fan above the cooktop seems too high up and not wide enough. Trust me -- mine is not wide enough, and I wish it was, but at least it's not too high up. I appreciate in this sleek, modern design, you want a very low profile exhaust fan. But -- you need the capture area to be wider than your cooktop so you can capture all the grease, steam, and smoke. One advantage you have is that there are no cabinets there to limit the width of your exhaust fan -- so widen it up. It's a must in a hard-working kitchen, especially one with a somewhat open floor plan. I don't know how you will use your kitchen or what the rest of your home is like. You may value a sleek, beautiful kitchen way more than a hard-working, efficient space, in which case, most of my comments are lower priority.

Attached are the photos of the kitchen. It’s a totally open space, completely visible from the living area. The left window is NW facing, and has a box grill. The hob is being installed under this window. The right window is a balcony that we’ve made a part of the kitchen. And these sliding windows are ceiling to floor and bring in ample light. Now the issue that we are facing is that the left smaller window was supposed to have fixed windows on the side housing an exhaust fan and sliding windows but there was some measuring glitch and now the fixed side window panels are not an option. The vendor suggested we do a small fixed window on the left (with an exhaust fan) and sliding windows attached to it. But I am opposed to having a bathroom like exhaust fan freely visible from the living area. Totally spoils the aesthetics. What i was wondering is if an exhaust fan can be skipped given the placement of the left and the right windows. And if not, can someone pls pls pls suggest what can be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
