Need help to design living room wall
Comments (1)Hi Vijaya, you could use some panelling with interesting inlay or play around with colors once you decide your tv and home theater. I suggest you have ledge or some storage underneath where ur sub woofer and DVD players can be placed. Make sure they have ample power points. Remember to keep them ventilated as most of them tend to get heated. You could use the same ledge to place ur laptop on the extreme end and place cushions or puffins to double as extra sitting. The adjacent wall is a great place to convert into a library. If you have any chair in that area it may block the entrance. Cheers....See MoreNeed help for my wierdly designed living room
Comments (11)I think I am certainly quite late to reply on this post but nevertheless will put my suggestions here. Go for 2 loveseats in a light/neutral colour against the 7 ft and 15 ft wall. Opposite the 15 ft wall you could put a nice upholstered bench in contrast/printed fabric. Also for a warm glow put a nice standing lamp in the corner between both sofas. You can place a nice mirror on the TV wall and put a nice shelf beneath it and place a lamp there with few knick knacks if the door opens outside in the balcony or is sliding. Also, keep two upholstered ottomans below the mirror which can be pulled for extra seating when required. Place a low height coffee table small one like a 2x2 ft....See MoreNeed suggestions for living room layout.
Comments (2)Hi Ajinkya,. you have a fairly straightforward and neat plan. I will suggest the TV position on the wall adjacent to the door in living area. Never have TV opposite a window since glare can disrupt viewing quality. Dining can be tucked at the corner where dining area is mentioned with a nice concole unit which can have crockery storage etc. and top of the console can have accessories and a painting flanked with bracket lights. avoid hydraulic table since it looks ugly and boxy on the wall. Get a chic and elegant rectangular table with a chandelier or hanging lights. Sofa can be 6' approx. Get a single 6' long sofa with a day bed adjacent to it so that you can move as you want. get a nice sleek center table with a rug in the center. TV unit can be designed and will become a feature of your home since it's getting an entire wall. some examples of our work and Pinterest options are below....See MoreNeed suggestions on living room design
