Hi, I would like to know the cost of wiring and fixing switchboards/fans/lights in a 3BR+ study+ 3 bathroom house. All rooms have basic fittings. Living room has false ceiling with cove lights. How does the costing work - it is based on per point or room wise? Thanks

It depends upon the quality of sliding fitting, the better the quality the more expensive the fitting. But better quality hardware is suggestive as its a sliding door. In normal doors you've to use good hinges but its not so expensive comparatively.

As Cornerstone Design Studio says, getting labour for small areas is a nightmare. But if you want to do recessed lighting around the periphery of every room in a house, it is possible. The main ceiling will have to be left bare, but you can run wires and recess lights into a 2' wide panel along the border
