Living room design
Comments (3)Hi Medha. What's your lifestyle? This is related to T.V. in the living room. If you want T.V. in the living area then this plan seems ok. Place a beautiful console and mirror on the opposite wall of the main entrance. I would suggest not to have two single armchair kind of seats, instead go for a long sleek couch kind of the seating. I've some doubts regarding the passage space betn the 3 seater sofa and the wall. Is there enough space to pass easily? Comments (8)Hello Kaushik, You can have a tall cabinet next to the door and stack them. What is interesting to know is that you are planning a chimney on a sliding window. Are you sure that's feasible ? We would be keen to know how that's done. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore...See MorePlacement of Floor Lamp
Comments (7)Hello there, You could simply interchange the position of batman with the lamp. Ideally floor lamps should be placed nearer to reading areas, like your mattress couch . So try to bring it a little closer to reading areas. As for the palm tree you could place it in any corner other than the current lamp position because the leaved would hinder the pathway once fully grown. If you really don't want the place vacant, you could go for a small curio table with a contemporary decor on it. Comments (15)Hello there, You could install a lounge sofa cum bed for sleeping and entertaining guests as well . Try placing it in a corner and try to incorporate it into a formal living with accent chairs and a center table. Second, for an informal living, a 3+2 seater config with accent chairs, floor lamps, recliners etc. would suffice. In general, split the entryway area into formal living and the existing seating area into informal living. If still having issues with organising, it is always recommended to hire a design professional. Regards, Aurum Ideas and Spaces Bhubaneswar...See Moreneetu singh
