Dear Carolyn, Thanks for your advice. Wood of 5mm thickness will be a good idea . It will help painting remain straight. I can slide it through a groove on wooden bars top and above. The wall I am describing is the one on left side as you enter. I love this painting as it depicts joy and celebration and you always get a smile when you look at it. Regards, Surendra

I think you are talking about a vanity to put in the bedroom, not the bathroom. Is that correct? If it is correct, then I think your idea of cherry wood for the vanity is a good one. It certainly doesn't have to match exactly. In fact, we mix a lot of wood stains these days. If you're interested in a vanity for the bathroom, that's a totally different thing. I see part of the bathroom in the photos. You could have a faux artist come and paint the existing bath vanity to match your bed if you want to go in that direction. But you state that you want a modern bathroom, so maybe you have something else in mind. I've selected 4 different baths that might appeal to you. am assuming this is a concrete structure, when shifting service toilet to utility area, and if there are apartments above, then running extra lengths of supply/drainage lines & introducing a structural sink slab (if this is concrete) under the new location can be charged extra.. it will be easier to divide the 3rd toilet. all services will be already available. only, do check on supply & drain pipes capacity as load is increased on the same pipes which were serving one toilet earlier..

Did you try moving kitchen cum dining close to utility room, then move pooja to where table currently is and open up space currently occupied by pooja.
