need help, for planning the windows, furniture, etc.of the living room, bedrooms, etc in this appartment
Comments (5)I'm no pro, but I'm curious-does this apartment exist? It reminds me of a project my husband took in an elective class, Intro to architecture, where he was required to design a living space as part of his final grade (Or is it some sort of student housing??) I'm asking because 1) All of the bedrooms are the same size and are isolated from each other, 2) the dining area at 10 x10 in the middle is going to be a corridor and you'll have almost no space for a table and chairs. 3) Then also all the bathrooms are ONLY accessed through the closets, which is extremely awkward for visitors. As far as the bedrooms, not necessarily an exciting choice, but your easiest choice is a bed against the toilet wall, with at least one nightstand, and a dresser on the wall by the door....See MoreNeed to make a pathway from main gate of house to main door
Comments (5)OnePlan has a point -- people are notoriously unaware when attention is elsewhere -- like getting to the front door. Laying pavers in a different color/pattern/size (pick an option that appeals to you) that will be the same level as the remaining pavers would give you the distinctive path. Shame to cover the pavers; can they be removed without destroying? Alternative that comes to mind is to create a barrier along that line. A railing mounting on the pavers either 3' high or 6' high -- pick your medium. metal posts w/railing. glass panels in a framwork. shoji screens. colorful curtains hung from above. A photo from further back, showing the front of the house would help suggestions....See Moreneed a beautiful home

Comments (12)Hi Prashant, South-east corner plots are actually not good for residential purpose. It is very good for commercial purposes. But, if the house is built as per Vsstu Shastra, it can reduce the bad effects. 1. The South-East corner has to be built with a separate building like a shop, garage, small temple, E.B meter room, boiler room, separate toilet…etc. 2. Trees like Coconut tree, Neem tree, etc., can be planted in the south-east corner of the plot. 3. The kitchen must be in the south-east corner. There are many more remedies. Ground Floor : Few columns are too close to each other which is not required. As per Vastu, kitchen should be in south-east corner as this plot needs to follow Vastu strictly. A separate garage/security room need to be added to this plan. A portico will form in the north east corner as per the first floor plan which is strictly prohibited as per Vastu in south east corner plots. The planning is OK as per me, but your south east corner plot requires a lot of Vastu considerations. First Floor : If the toilet which in the north can be shifted anywhere else better go for it. In the long run, toilets can have seepage issues, which can spoil your living room roof. Generally, we prefer toilets over toilets and kitchen over kitchen. The basic reason for this is plumbing issues/to minimize the wastage of pipes. Hope this will help. Regards Prity...See MoreJitendra Kothari
