M confused whether to select different types of floor tiles for each bedroom or it should b same for all rooms except for kids room ... I own a 4 bhk flat
You can differentiate by using wooden floor in the master bedroom and can go with the color themed tiles for the kids room. For the rest you can opt for regular vitrified tiles or the natural stones
agree with Rupal. One floor option makes the place look larger and keeps the flow. If you wish to differentiate you should only do it in the master bedroom with wooden flooring and in the kids with vinyl or stone or any tile of your choice. Not doing too many floor finishes would also prevent the place from being broken up into different areas that need a separate look and while that look would compliment all the elements in it, you would have to care to see that it doesnt jar the other elements in the house. So for all practical design purposes I think its a good idea to stick to a single neutral flooring element that would compliment the look of each area.
