Help to arrange things in Living room
Comments (11)Dytecture, I see you have the same idea I was going to post! Put that dining table close to kitchen's open wall! I mean who wants to get up from the table to use "the facilities" with everyone sitting right there? I was thinking of flipping the placement of the tv unit and one of the sofas. Back of sofa would create a sort of hallway into the bathroom. That way no problem with plugging tv in, hiding cords, etc. Cozy it up with choice of wall paint, art, area rugs, plants. Enjoy! PS: Add a small metal bistro table with a couple of chairs to the patio area. That is also great living space....See MoreNeed help for my new office- layout and seating arrangement
Comments (4)Houzz is primarily for residential buildings but here are some images that might give you an idea of maximising space and light You basically want to keep a level of space and light so white or a soothing pale blue can work if the work is stressful. Good lighting and good natural light. Perhaps your management box in the center as four squares and slightly raised so you can see out the windows but also allow your staff to benefit. A rest and relaxation area for some breaks and a kitchen and toilets....See MoreHelp me find the right kind of seating for the media room

Tore all my hair out, and now this bald lady is saying that the angel above would make a good fifth element, I think, if it's the right size (not too big). It you are considering purchase, try to borrow it first to see. Otherwise, put something in roughly the same size and shape -- scrumpled up paper can work -- in that position. Trust your eye as you did so well with the start of the vignette. I would prefer your original arrangement, with that, to the the second arrangement, in which I think the white is too stark, and the colour too bright. You want a feeling of age and patina, which is what you have in the first arrangement. Also, in the second arrangement, the clock and the couple are overwhelmed by the bright white. My thought about the lace runner is not unconnected with Decoenthusiaste's comment above. I don't think your items are too feminine, but perhaps underscale. But adding a large item won't help; a runner could, by enlarging the footprint (base area)....See MoreAADARSH
