the thing with your house plan can be dealt within your factors that suit your personal space. if the dining and kitchen are opening to a common space, it's based on your main entrance facing your space so we can plan your living and opening with ease

1.take your tv or casual seating facing towards east you can have a tv facing your dining in that way you can watch tv while dining.

2. we can assume to kitchen counter towards the south so can place the dining table opposite facing the balony area.

Thanks Jayanth. Problem is that if i place the TV on the big wall on the east, sofa will need to be near the smaller west wall. Wont it block up the terrace? Also ideally what should be the space between TV and sitting? I have a 42" tv now, and will max move one to two sizes up, not much. Though the connected terrace is small, btu i plan to spruce it up with pots and small seating. Any suggestions??

how do you mean block the terrace its a apartment on foina;l floor or own house

no, its an apartment on higher floor. therfore i dont want to block the sliding door opening into it

just have the tv next to the sliding door iis all I'm saying il show you.
