Comments (8)As per your drawings, the outlets must be from the window walls. Is the door is in the center of the 4' wall? If yes, shift it on one side to get the proper depth for the wash basin. If you want Indian style W.C. then you'll have to raise the platform by 9". And the plan will be in the sequence of Washbasin of size 2'6"x 4', then bathing area of size 3'6"x 4' and at the end the w.c. area. My suggestion will be to go for western W.C. In such a small area, dressing room cannot be provided as the depth of the bathroom is only 4'. You'll have to plan it in the room only....See MoreBathroom door jamb
Comments (17)@cornerstone design studio India... Yes, it does seem like a pain now coz a lot of things have changed. And it takes too much time. So basically we just wanted to renovate the bathroom. And change some furniture in the bedroom. But the designer also has some design ideas as they all go for the look and perfection. We cancelled a lot of those ideas. And yet there were so many tiny details that we never thought exist Thank you for your input. Feeling a bit relieved about that. That thing has been eating us inside a lot....See MoreWhat are some cost-effective options to paint my bathroom's PVC door?
Comments (6)Simple! Avoid paint! Simply buy 2 sheets of laminate (one for front and back each) that matches with the rest of your doors, and paste it on the PVC door using a strong adhesive (HeatX by Fevicol, or any other alternative). Enjoy! (Note: This solution can work only if there are no undulations on the peripheral frame of the door) I hope this was helpful....See MoreRevamping bathroom
Comments (7)Priya, There is no end to wishlist :). It's a new home and remodelling bathrooms may be a very costly affair in terms of money and efforts/time and sometimes approvals from builders. Before indulging in the process would give a straightforward suggestion to check if you would really like to do that now. Remodelling this with thorough water proofing may cost lakhs and some 20 days of effort. Take your call if you are open to it Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs Bangalore...See MoreBathroom + Kitchen Eleven
