Comments (14)I'm not against colorful homes. There's bright, and then there's too bright. I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house. The photo you provided has lots of white trim which offsets the orange, but your house doesn't have that much trim (unless you were planning on adding some, which I think would look good no matter what color you ultimately choose, but even so, I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house, as it's still too bright). To repeat what @nwduck said, the other homes in the neighborhood don't appear to all be done in the bright colors, and so yours would stand out too too much. I like @deco's idea of the bright door, if you really love a bright color. For the rest of the house, any more subdued color would be fine, along with additional trim around the windows, and assuming that your siding color coordinates with your roofing color....See MoreNeed help with vinly flooring for open plan kitchen & entrance. Comments (3)Thanks One Plan for your recommendation. Would it be good to go for Herringbone pattern in hallway and in the open plan vinyl straight planks and then matching tile in the decking area. We have shortlisted karndean vinyl for open plan (Von Gogh Distressed Oak) althought not sure. Also what type of anti-slip material should I go for if I had to matching wooden look vinyl ?...See MoreUnique wall idea
Comments (17)Madam, I don’t have a drawing. However, I can draw and send it across. Sorry for advising, however my suggestion would be: 1) Check the tube level of the wall for plaster. 2) Ensure that the plaster is even 3) You can ask Asian paints home solution for a coat of paint. Don’t look beyond a cement colour. 4) Leading upto the wall have it decked with wood; meaning deck wood flooring. This will accentuate the floor. 5) Buy a Buddha resting on a pedestal. The Buddha must be sculpted in stone. Take care that the face is natural. 6) Get a Carpenter to make a frame work on all four sides with teak and give it a natural finish. 7) Bodhi tree must be silver/ gold finish and must cover atleast 40% of the wall. 8) Have two focus lamps from the top and one warm lighting from the floor level. 9) Just one pot with either artificial or natural bamboo with a few green leaves. Lo and behold you will have the most beautiful entry into both your bedrooms. Useful for meditation as well. 1) Bodhi tree- Mantra Arts, Chennai. I am chennai based and hence no idea of other cities. 2) Pots-try Poettery, Gurgaon. True masterpieces. Regards, Prakash....See Morehmschlink
