Lovely look! What’s the neighbors portion? Planted out also, SHARED design or is it not in views in photographs? I have an identical issue of NARROW, but challenging climate...neighbors-grass. LONG house. It’s just such a bore...+ weekly mowing that boring strip, both sides. Any info greatly appreciated. Sub-tropics so WEEEEEEDS, and neighbors grass will always encroach a design.

Did I mention black mold. :(. People landscape with that pretty shell aggregate rock, but in a couple years, all those pretty compressed colors are black and ugly. No other stone available locally. But sure do love those stepping stones!

Archietexture, the neighbors portion is to the right of the plantings seen here and is at a slightly lower elevation.

I see. I guess the camera lens and lower elevation is compressing reality. It looks as though the planting is taking their space. That’s a lot of planting for five feet. They look healthy too, for having so little direct sun. Nice work!
