Hello bobbi, Here are the pictures. 1) tv unit area 2) opposite wall ( area for sofa) , 3) enterance ( please suggest something near the enterance area that incorporates shoe rack and a medium length partition that doesn't look very crowded). 4) dining area. As I had mentioned that we are looking at contemperory designs that are modern interiors with minimalist in furniture to give more of peaceful ambiance. Hello Jayant, As per Vastu the ideal space for the Puja room is the North-East area of the house. As per the plan that would be on the right wall of the bedroom adjacent to the wash yard. You can keep the Mandir in the place of the study table. In addition, the Mandir should not be on the same wall as the washroom. In case Vastu is not a concern, the current position seems optimal. in the right-bottom corner of the living room. As per the directions, that falls in the South-East of the living room and South-West for the entire house. As for the what the mandir, You can look at Corian or wood as the building material. Corian will allow light to pass through the mandir and you can install LEDs behind for a beautiful look. Wood is more earthy and charming and traditional.
