With your original pictures - I agree with larger rug. But I don't agree with comments suggesting the rooms are monochromatic. They are lively indeed. I think you are just missing some accessories! Art work on the empty walls - even just a single large dramatic piece is in order. In the bedroom on the white wall, in the living space behind the sofa, in the greenish bedroom behind the two beds. Those are instant areas where you can improve. But I think your spaces are lovely and well put together. Also I agree with the comment about table lamps - some of those would really add something, and your coffee table looks so empty - maybe just one gorgeous bowl, or stack some books. These rooms are 90% done in my opinions, just need a few finishing touches. Some of my rooms come out like this because the clients are not willing to pay for those last few finish items or feel they can do that part themselves...

Adding taupe or beige to the walls, in most hues, would blend in too much with the draperies. I love the lavender in the bedding. It would pull the room together if you were to choose a grey paint that had elements of lavender or berry and silver. The color would be subtle, neutral, relaxing as well as refined. This slight shimmer will pull out the subtle nuances in the marble. As the headboard is already so interesting, it would be too busy to add anything too ornate on the wall. To open up the room and increase the light, you could hang a mirror. I would select an Art Deco style with metallic accents to continue pulling together the room. The marble is lovely, but combined with the sleek lines in the bed and bedding it creates a very smooth appearance. To create warmth, it is necessary to add additional texture. I would add a soft, plush or high pile area rug by the bed. How nice would it be to step out of bed on to that?

Since you have a focus light in that corner already, why don't you go for a big brass statue (goddess) or small brass statues on shelves or even indoor plants on shelves or brass bells on both sides with just statue in the center. Statue like the one below will give an aesthetic look. Wish you good luck.

In your bedroom, extend your wardrobe till your door leaving few inches. Give more depth and use shutters for small things by providing steel baskets in shutters, give full height to your wardrobe and use upper shutters for seasonal clothes. Design your bed in such a way that it can store your bedspreads, bedsheets etc.
