Do you mean plans for construction? There are many sites on the Internet that will have samples for you. The main issue is that local ordinances require setbacks from property lines and these free samples may not fit what your local building department may require. You can usually access the setback information from your building department online, but a trip down to talk to a planner may be necessary. Start there, finding a house plan that fits within that footprint is the second step.

Farooq, There are some building bylaws that require to be maintained. Depending on the state you are in the law requires a certain gap between the road and the compound wall and a certain gap between the compound wall. I was looking at the requirements today. you will have to check them as per your state. I would advise you to leave more space for your back yard for maintenance and cleaning. Thank you for the suggestion, that's the first time I've heard of magnetic track systems! They definitely seem like they'd add a modern feel but I'm not in love with having a track visible on the ceiling as it feels like that might draw the eye more so than a few recess lights. It seems like even if you use the track lighting you still need to position the magnetic light system to highlight certain locations of the kitchen, same as recess you just have a bit more flexibility with changing the placement. If you were to use track or recess lights in our kitchen, which features would you choose to place lights near?
