One Follow-up question.. Is there any strength issue with 20mm Granite slab over 40mm Granite.. Are the 20mm granite slab prone to chipping or crack on normal usage.. Usage would be like, chopping vegetables, keeping hot vessels,.. The normal usage what happens in normal indian kitchen.. Vinotha, iIts a personal preference. If your family is used to.a circular one go for it. I find eating on a rectangular one more comfortable gives me elbow space. Hi Shivam, the best size is either 300mm x 300mm or 600mm x 600mm. The reason is - smaller the tile size better the maintenance of slope to achieve drainage of water. Also, use anti skid tiles to avoid accidents.
