Hello April, It's an old wood floor and each slab of wood accepts the stains differently so getting exact match is very difficult. Sanding, staining and repolishing the existing flooring to match the new floor is a likely solution to your dilemma. Its a messy and time taking procedure though. Hey Farooq, I understand your concern. I have a better idea. Drawing room and Living room does not need to be separated by a wall , you can just have a step up wooden flooring done in the drawing area to define the space. Also as per the plan what I have sent you, you can create a window where you existing Main door is and open up the Main door from drawing room as shown in red. If you still want want a wall between drawing room and living room then you can have it but it's just that I feel you can make your living room look big if you knock of the wall, or you can even create a partition with Jali work or you can even have a low height wall to just define the area. check out some of the images attached :)

Create a border along with the window frame using plaster or some other thing to levitate as shown in purple colour then colour two different areas with two different colours main entrance colour should be more bright and welcoming and consider developing stairs from ground to plinth all along the the wall as shown by brown colour This would divide the things in ration and will remove the awkwardness this is the cheapest way . rest you can spend as much as you can . . . Pooja's placement is what I was talking about, if you like the NiTi has placed it, shifting the wires is not as expensive an affair as you think it to be. you can pull them from the false ceiling. another thing you can do is use them as two separate pieces. have a C side table that goes under the sectional for a built in side table look for the right piece and use the left as a chaise. You could also shorten it. that will be cheaper but you'll need a skilled craftsman otherwise the structure can be compromised. since you're planning to reupholster, shortening it is also a viable option.
