Perhaps they have them in your country. He cut them in half so they were only two feet deep and stacked them up to high counter height. I think it looks good on the paper but to make a code compliant staircase you will have to call a stair company have them do the layout and they will tell you if you have room or not and give you what options you have. In here you wasting your time. With that said, they can probably fit 3' landing with 2 stairs going down and doing 90 degree turn with 10 stairs, that will set you at around 8"+ riser height, here in NJ you can have a riser height 8 1/4" and min thread depth 9" so it might just work. You have to check your local code and see what the stair requirement is for your area and work from there. Good luck

you are thinking about the space right now. it looks odd, no doubt. 1) when you fill in with the furniture, just make sure the three steps are hidden. 2) consider three potted plants of different height, so the rectangle is complete. 3) glass bowl with Siamese fighting fish for each step 4) figurines of different heights 5) 2inch square wooden bar on each step up to the top of the rectangle. and complete the entire rectangle if you want with a smaller rectangle open in the center my suggestion is, there is a reason why this space ended up like this. it will look great once you put something there. things like these are what make your house unique.

Rohanth, See if this inspires you.. alongwith some of the ideas suggested by RMs above. If its feasible please do away with the grills and replace them with tempered glass.
