Kitchen hardware finishes with black stainless appliances

We are going with offwhite cabinets, dark countertops with stone offwhite ink, and black stainless appliances. Need help with metal finished for kitchen faucet and cabinet hardware please!

I suspect that this mix of finishes would support use of either dark (iron or oil-rubbed bronze) or light (brushed nickel or stainless) hardware. Look at some pictures and see which appeals to you.

We saw some great Amerock hardware at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) that would look great with the Black Stainless appliances. We especially fell in love with the Esquire line (gunmetal)- it seems a little more masculine, but very stylish. http://www.amerock.com/Products/By-Collection/Detail/cid/63/c/Esquire

They also have a bunch of other styles with the gunmetal finish

You have a great opportunity to go eclectic. So using very modern and colourful elements for the kitchen - modern storage cannisters, a vase, lights, toaster, even mixer, you start to introduce shocks of colour and shape that jar with the expectations in a traditional kitchen. Sorry, but would you really take advice from someone that hasn't seen even off color photos of all the materials you've selected or knows the floor plan of your kitchen. If you post photos of the color and door style of the cabinets and cabinet moldings, a photo or the the name of the coutertop (there are many types and styles of black countertops), the finish and style of the appliances, the flooring you have selected, and the floor plan of your kitchen, maybe you could get sensible advice along of course with a lot of less valuable input. Asking blind strangers to direct you isn't sensible.

Hi Hallsandra, I am going to guess the colour of the floor black and suggest: - if you are thinking white I suggest cream or off-white will be really good. -you can also go with ore than one colour eg. floor level cabinets teal or jade and upper cabinets orange or floor level cabinets light grey and upper cabinets white or off white, -another choice is to go yellow -how about nude pink? Other suggestions are tidewater blue, bamboo leaf green etc. Hope that was helpful. If you tell us the exact colour of the floor, the tile on the wall even we could help you narrow it down. So - because I'm like a dog with a bone when faced with a challenge, we made a trip to Lowe's to compare knobs to the finish on the black stainless appliances. The finish is actually a little different depending on the appliance manufacturer (LG and Samsung in these photos) but the polished pewter complemented both perfectly.

I like the way our designer mixed wrought iron with brass with much the same as you are describing.
