Eventually when you come to resell, a pool is an added plus. But for your own purposes, emptying the pool and adding a deck over it with a hinged door and steps placed below would be great for storage (as per option b but bearing in mind you could revert). All the best for your lovely new home.

The size of the pool is 6m x 25m x 1.35m depth.And we have though of going for 48mmx48mm glass mosaic tiles of different color combination. The reason is that we felt that going for a smaller tile might be too much busy on the overall looks and also too many grout lines would be seen. Wheres as the 48x48 tiles would be much relaxed in the pattern and a bit more easier to maintain. What is your take on this? Thank you in advance.

Hello Mr.Rahul. in my opinion Its absolutely a perfect idea to have small or mid size pool on terrace . if your ok try this company called.. Smart pools. They have a Pre fab pool system which can be placed on existing terrace areas without any hassle of civil works. if not even a conventional small sized swimming pool with deck can be built with Proper planning and execution. Existing building structure should be analysed for the right placement. i dont forsee any major structural issues if designed well. Thanks

Hi Shivam, I hope you are doing good. There is no particular tile size that may look good as it completely depend kind of design you have in your perspective. If you are looking at more traditional interiors then generally smaller tiles with motifs or emblems look good which have a representative geometrical or floral patterns. If you are looking at more modern interiors then generally bigger tile sizes are preferred for clean look less joints.  Regards, deSigneR
