Please consider this reorganization of the spaces which makes the most off the area available. The dining area is moved from the dark interior to share the same area as the living room, across from the open kitchen counter which would serve as a buffet. The black volumes are false columns faced in stone or marble or any other material of your choosing to give the space some girth. This distribution of the spaces gains you a walking closet for the master bedroom. Its ultimate effectiveness depends on your needs. I hope this is somewhat useful.

What a beautiful house, Shahbaaz! I live in a similar house - a 150-year-old colonial bungalow in Kumaon. You have already received lots of excellent advice from better-qualified people, so all I would say is, keep its age and heritage character the central theme. The white tiles do clash, I am afraid ... flooring with terracotta tiles would echo the roof and look lovely. The columns and the arches over the doors and windows are amazing. But I'd say, leave it all chuna-painted - there's a beauty and softness to it. Don't let the painters add too much neel (indigo) in the limewash -- in the hills where I live, they put far too much if I don't watch out and the result is a harsh white. Natural lime has a softer, creamy look.

Ashish, The workmanship seems to be an issue with your stone cladding wall. Interlock joints are visible and dirty. This needs to be thoroughly cleaned and grey cement will need color touch ups. Some people go for a lacquer polish to enhance the look of the stones. However, it is equally repulsive for some people who like natural finish. For the wall in the balcony I have shortlisted two stones A) Black leather finish granite B) Grey William granite. I am posting pictures of both. What can be pro and cons as I am looking for the exteriors wall only. Further for there will be window and steel/glass grill at wall of balcony so not sure whether book match pattern of grey William stone will work or not. I request whoever reading this to suggest which stone will look better at my elevation wall. Thanks a lot for reading this. Looking forward to get some positive suggestions.
