How to Choose the Best Furniture For Bedroom?
Comments (2)I agree whole heartedly. I also agree on starting with the bed. The bed should be the "hero" of the room. Night stands are always needed, but even they do not need to match. Then figure out exactly what you NEED for storage in the bedroom. There is no rule that you have to own a dresser if you store all of your clothes in the closet. Will you have a TV in the room? How do you plan to view it? From a sitting area, in bed? A sideboard with storage or a media center may be a better choice for you. Do you have a seating area, or at least a chair you can sit on and tie youe shoes or put on socks. Buy furniture for your specific needs, buy the best quality for the work horse pieces you can afford. Don't forget lighting, and a mirror of some sort. Look at the photos of Master Bedrooms here on Houzz, you'll get an inspiration for mixing and maybe land on a style that appeals to you. Fall in love with a piece, the green tags show you where they came from, or ask the question. Have Fun!!...See MoreNeed help for bedroom
Comments (15)Hi, softyjane. You have a very pretty sheet set, and seem to like pink, so let's begin with a fresh coat of pink on all four walls. If someone can build you a little shelf to sit in the window, you could paint a basket, too, and put all your small items in it. Your food tray would make a nice picture background in the window. Then, some hooks on the right wall to hang your bags from will make things a bit roomier. White trim at the window will make it seem bigger, as well. If someone can do carpentry work for you, then you can create even more space by raising your bed high and making a loft bed with it. then you will have room below to put whatever you like - a chair, a desk, shelves - and place a curtain or bead strands in front for privacy. This is just to give some inspiration - yours will look special to your likes: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/5lDtTj0CQlo/0.jpg Hope that helps, and that you get the bedroom of your dreams!...See Morebedroom cum study room
Comments (6)see according to your discription about the room u should place the wardrobe on the right corner close to the bathroom as it must will be lot more easier for u to access the cupboard beside going to the other end of the room and a large l shaped table with over head storage and underneath the table so that u can store more of the stuff with minimum usage of the area and the reason behind this long ribbon like table all over the area is to provide max. space for ur work area as well as study like u can study or work in front of that window so that u can get the natural light in the day and the left corner can be used for operating your pc ......i hope u can understand my logic something like this kind of storage above that study table to keep things more organized ......and u can even use mirror panels for your cupboard that will give you full length mirror coverage...See Morehello find the best bedroom layout
Comments (10)Okay, Let me know what your needs are and i will make alterations based on the same. Until then, Remove the wall completely and take the balcony into the room. this way you can increase the circulation space in the room. You can then build a window seat that will provide for additional storage as well as a pretty focal point in the room. Try not to use curtains as partitions as they provide a very 'temporary' feel to the room. it will feel like this is a rented house you are living in. If you must create a partition, try a partition panel or a two way bookshelf. you can place the curtains on the window itself. Removing the wall will also provide space for a side table. I hope this helps. We can further refine the changes based on your needs. We are an distance interior design firm and we can help you with more than just furniture arrangement. We also provide the option of designing just 1 room with us, that way you can test before committing. Please do get in touch if you think we can help.
