Hi Ra, I really like the way you have "played" with top cabinets in the kitchen to maximize the storage space (maybe I would have done it in white, but that's just an opinion). I'd like to know the way they have been set up, did you use some structure to hang them and increase the resistance?

I think it would be fine if the cupboards match or atleast are close enough. Its a good idea to put them across from one another so to balance out the room, or atleast consider the balance when placing your furniture. In the end if it is practical and comfortable, you can always work on making it look pretty

You can- but be wary of the gray color you choose. Also make sure you pull other colors into the mix and a light area rug or carpet will help. The first picture here is an example of what not to do....dull and boring: This next photo is better for ideas: Pop of colors and lighter gray on walls. Bad photo but an even lighter gray wall with a lighter rug. Hope this helps.

Hi Neetu, Thanks for sending in the sketch. Its is really helpful. A lot many things are already in place as per vaastu such as the east facing entry, orientation of the beds, east facing pooja, east facing kitchen ota etc. However, the following things can be worked upon - - A lot of space has been lost due to the staircase. However, lets work around it. - The pooja cannot share a wall with the toilet. It has to be relocated. - The master bedroom needs to be in the south west corner of the house. - The kitchen should be either in the north west corner or the south east corner. Some questions that we have are - - Is this a part of a flat scheme or an individual bungalow? (Looks like a bungalow from the drawing but still) - Is this only a ground floor house? If not what is there on the upper floor? - How many bedrooms are actually needed? It would be great if you could answer these questions. Maybe we would be able to assist you better. Thank you.
