Hello all, here is a rough draft of a 3d rendering of my kitchen plan. I am trying to figure out the best way to do a backsplash on this wall. I originally wanted to do the whole wall all the way to the french door and then do a transition border... but now i am thinking to just do something with color and pattern directly behind the range.
Any suggestions on how to make this look better and make it a nice accent wall is welcome. I describe my style as "California , spanish, global" LOL . My house is full of stuff from my travels to Asia, india, etc. But I love the local California Spanish style too... so I like to blend it. My thoughts were to find some carved wood trim to put on the hood (which will be a smooth plaster finish, like my fireplace). For tile backsplash, I really like Tabarka tile.
