Need help with good photography for my Rugs
Comments (8)A professional photographer would be an excellent idea. But if you don't think you can afford to do so and want to invest in an appropriate camera and lighting which can be very expensive. B & H photo in New York could probably advise you. Or Adorama. But there is definitely a learning curve to do great photography. It is not as easy as it looks. Different backdrops take different lighting. It also depends on the lighting in the area you will be taking the pictures....See MoreNeed help for the living room, Indian/Asian/Tribal artistic
Comments (501)Hi Ni, I just thought of something....did you say you planned to do the stencil motifs on the window wall? If so, I am thinking they will be mostly hidden by the curtains. I wonder if it might be better to stencil the long wall that is on the right side of the room when looking toward the window. I could see this being a pretty backdrop to the prayer box (I think that’s what you called it?) and your wood cuttings. Then maybe the opposite wall (the one with the kitchen doorway) could hold a large piece of art?...See MoreIdeas for these living room pillars
Comments (23)Yes sure ... we did something which I believe is a club of various ideas and expertise.. Though incomplete now , I will post what we have done till now. First we have around 8 feet appox glass 12 mm between the pillars. secondly we have three boxes 27" in height with focus halogens at the bottom. Now we will decorate these boxes with glass pebbles for awesome reflective / color effect. -I do need idea on what fillers can be used which will make me buy less glass pebbles ..else i would need at least 30kg plus of these pebbles. Thirdly we will now have glass film behind these 3 tall glasses to make it quite attractive and something which will look better with or without light. The idea is to add some golden plants in the middle i.e golden leaves and branches etc. -I would like more input on what films would look great behind these pillars. Or any other idea. I will definitely post once we are done with it....See Morehelp regarding interior and furnishings
Comments (7)Hi, we suggest to keep your home simple and warm and fresh and add a pop of colour in terms of either rugs or curtain or accessories. attaching some images for your reference option 1- you can create shelving options on simple white walls to decorate the space. option 2- you can add one feature wall of a bolder colour than the rest of the walls option 3- you can panel the sofa back wall with laminate/veneer to add warmth and keep furnishings and fabrics neutral option 4- you can keep everything very simple and neutral and add a pop of colour in rugs/curtain option 5- you can add wooden slats to give the house a modern contemporary look. Pro tip - adding planters will enhance the space and look it look lively and homely at the same time. best of luck! regards, deSigneR...See MoreUser
