I have to set up my New Living cum Dining room. Drawing is as attached. I do not have a sofa and I do not plan to buy any. Instead, I will prefer to buy some light weight chairs. I already have a 6 seater Dining table, a single bed and 3 old trunks of my MIL which I plan to put somewhere in this room and cover up with some padding above it and a good bed cover or Table cover. Please suggest me a good idea.

First thing you need is a pad of graph paper to understand that there is no way the furniture items are to scale (exception could be the dining table) I'm guessing the kitchen is off to the left and the main entry is into the Drawing room? Can the wall be eliminated between the two spaces for more flexibility? - if so, the drawing room space would lend itself perfectly to a round dining table. But the main thing is to draw on graph paper the space & actual dimensions of the furniture you'll be bringing to your new home - so you are not shocked when you move in.

Hello , couple of things which come to my mind is that , you can have a beautiful galley kitchen. Use light colours and materials and plan it well . For light points , use ceiling mounted lights, instead of wall mounted ones. And in any case, you have very good ventilation Also maintain one common theme throughout, with light colours
