L-shaped living/dining area color suggestion

my new house has an L-shaped living/dining area. PFA the layout. I was thinking of painting Wall A & Wall B of different colors (say Wall A: Rattan AF 375 & Wall B: Stormy Sky 1616 by Benjamin Moore) & rest of the walls, white. I want some suggestions on this!

Is painting opposite walls of different colors, a good idea? If no, which wall/walls would be preferable to be painted with a different shade? Kindly suggest.

The only wall I would possibly treat differently is Wall B because it's large and there aren't any windows or doors on it. It could have a fairly bold colour on it and the rest of the walls could be much lighter, even a white. That will draw all the emphasis in the space onto Wall B which is probably where you will anchor your sofa arrangement.

I would not mix LED and CFL they have different looks and LED s are much cheaper to run. You can find a fixture you like and switch out most with LEDs, we have been slowly changing all of our halogen lighting to LEDs now that the LEDs come in higher wattages. We have 70 halogen lights in our house so I am doing 12 at a time, love the change. I like the fact that you can have a lot more lights off the same circuit too.
