Kitchen nook dining table

Hi

Looking for a finding table for my nook. I have dark cabinets in my kitchen and am trying to see what color table will look nice with these cabinets.

Posting picture of kitchen cabinets and a table I saw in a few finishes. What color seems to look better?

My suggestion would be not to match the kitchen cabinets. The table with the cabinets in the background all in the same color will look flat and take away from the beauty of the wood in both. My suggestion would be a glass or stone table top or a wood table in a darker tone to accent the darker chocolate in your splash tile:)

Thanks for your comments. I also wanted a rectangular glass top table but these days that is very difficult to find.

have your dining near the kitchen as it's better for accessibility. TV should not be opposite any window to avoid glare. keep the tv in the center and living room around it. Do not divide the space with a divider since these days the trend is to have open floor plan. If you divide then the space will look small.

This is the aero where the table would go ....... So wouldn't getting a darker color table make the place dark?

If I am having trouble finding a rectangle glass top table I usually order the glass from a local (to the location of my Client) glass shop and then the base from one of my furniture vendors. a dark table with your light chairs should not feel dark given that it is in a room with what looks to be lots of light with the large glass door and side window. I do think the glass would be perfect for the area. What size table are you thinking will fit the best in the space and for your needs?
